Additional information for workshops or retreats:

If you are attending a workshop or retreat, please ensure you are well enough to do so.

No responsibility is taken for personal belongings that are brought to the event or cars left in the carpark.

In some locations, there maybe be a woodburning stove or fire, please be mindful of this. No responsibility will be taken for injury caused by coming too close.

Halls and facilities that are rented are well loved spaces and we have to be careful of the floor and furniture. If you cause any damage to the equipment or facilities you MAY be liable for the paying the full cost or a partial contribution.

All participants are responsible for self-screening for Covid symptoms. If you are unwell and are unable to attend the event due to Covid then a full refund or a transfer to another date will be offered. Proof of this maybe requested.

It is your responsibility to ensure suitable clothing is worn.

Please bring water or any medication you require.

If food is included then it is your responsibility to advise the organiser of any allergies or food intolerances.

If the workshop includes a walk.

The walk will take place in all weather conditions, unless deemed unsafe.

The terrain is uneven and may be muddy in places, it is not recommended for individuals with limited mobility. There may be natural obstacles like low hanging branches or tree roots that you need to be aware of. That you are responsible for ensuring you are physically well enough to attend the walk.

The walk should only be undertaken if you feel well enough to do so. That any exercise comes with risk and that you are voluntarily participating in the event aware of all risks involved.

During a workshop or walk edible and medicinal herbs will be identified and discussed. Plants have been used as food sources for thousands of years. Plants which are traditionally used to treat various medical conditions will be referred to. Guided walks and workshops are not a substitute for one-to-one consultations. Some wild plants are poisonous and accurate identification is essential prior to picking any plants and ingesting them. Ingestion of any plant material is done so completely at your own risk. If you are pregnant or may be pregnant you are advised against eating any wild plants, which you have not had previous exposure to.

Cancellations & Refunds:

Event cancellation: If Embodied Evolution Cancels the event you will be offered a full refund or a transfer to another. These specific circumstances are: Extreme weather, Covid guidelines change, Illness of the Instructor and a positive Covid test.

Refunds: A full refund will be issued before 30 days. If you cancel up to 7 days before a 50% refund will be issued and a full refund will be reimbursed if your place is filled. If you cancel within 7 days there will be no refund, unless the place is filled. The refund does not include the booking fee.
